Adopt a Domestic Long Hair

Domestic Long Hair Cat

Socks the Cat needs a home

Meet Socks! Socks is a curious kitty who’s full of spunk. He’s an active guy who would benefit from daily, interactive playtime sessions in his new home.

Delicious treats, tall scratching posts and confident cat friends who like to play are just a few of Socks’ favorite things. You can often find this curious cat hanging out in the empty bathtub of his foster home or scampering around the house getting in his daily exercise.

An adults-only home with an experienced cat adopter would be a great match for young Socks. He will need to live with an active, confident cat companion.

Foster Program Cat - As part of our adoption program, some of our feline friends have the opportunity to live in foster homes. This allows cats to have a more comfortable and domestic living space, and allows our behaviorists to learn more about each individual kitty's personality and needs. Through our foster program, we are able to offer adopters a clearer picture of how their new feline friend will adjust to life in a permanent home. If you are interested in meeting one of our foster program cats, please first call our Adoptions department at (212) 876-7700 ext. 4120 to make an appointment. Our team will provide you with more information about meeting this cat.

If you're interested in adopting please call our Adoptions department at (212) 876-7700, ext. 4120. For more information on adopting from the ASPCA, please visit www.aspca.org/adoptionsteps.
